Tonight at the Covo, just after midnight, there will be the Comet Gain in concert. They just released a new album called City Fallen Leaves and I always play it on the radio.
They're not so young anymore, not so good players, a little freaked out and definitely out of fashion. But I love them since I listened to You Can Hide Your Love Forever for the first time.
I feel honoured to play records after them.

Tonight the club will be packed with people, everybody will be drunk, so my work will be quite easy, just have to not forget the right party songs.
Hope you'll have a lot of fun too. I'd love to be there in Stockholm tonight.
Say "ciao" to Erlend Oye from Italy!

I'll spend the next days visiting my family, away from internet and music and Bologna. Will I survive?
I think yes. I will be too busy eating tortellini and pandoro, drinking red wine and watching old Christmas movies on tv.

I bought a Richard Scarry book for my nephew, and a small book with coloured magnets inside for his little sister. You can move the characters on the page instead of turning pages. It's funny, and sort of twee.
I hope they will like them.
What presents did you receive this year?

I'll be back before new year's eve, for Losing My Badge.
Hope you will have nice Christmas holidays too.
A big warm hug and a kiss from here.

(Now playing White Christmas by The Pipettes).

Do you still feel that way? Are you still studying so much?
These past days I wanted to say something clever to answer your post, but the truth is that I don't have it. I just know I often feel this way too.
Sometimes "Caring that much about other people" can hurt. Then you begin to be silent, and you don't go out on friday night, and you want other people looking for you rather than you looking for them...
And then, one day, it passes off, and you begin a new season once again.

I've been happy this last weekend. In a cold and sunny unknown town in France, with no reason to be there, meeting one of my favourite band of this year. I've been lucky. The interview went well. I hope to write a good article.
Now I'm here, job, everyday life, a little boredom. Like all the intense feelings faded away, now I'm a little lazy.
But I have to wake up: tomorrow night there's gonna be the Shout Out Louds for the first time in Italy, and after them the third Losing My Badge night. I want it to be memorable.
Will we ever dance together again, some day?
A big, warm and smiling hug from Italy.

A friday night spendt studdying math and feeling sorry for yourself

Well, I guess that there's better things to do. This whole day has been really strange, and allthough I've tried to studdy for a longer time and I've tried to stay as normal as I can, it can be really hard sometimes.
Now I think I will try to sleep and stop caring that much about other people.

Good night

I'm going to do one of the coolest thing in my life.
Tonight after the radio and the club I will drive to Milan once again. This time to take a plane and fly to Rennes, in France. Tomorrow afternoon I will interview the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, a band from New York I really really loved this year. I will attend to a big festival with this plastic press pass around my neck. I will stay in a big hotel where all the bands stay. A record label is going to pay for all this. Maybe I should be scared. I wonder when they will realize that they took the wrong person.
